Hayley orrantia was born in the United States. She is primarily an actress, but she's also a singer and songwriter. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". However, she considers herself to be primarily a musician. At the age of 9 of age, she began dabbling into music. After she turned 12 years old, music became seriously enough, that she started professionally trained. In 2013, she picked the plunge into songwriting and made her first album. Since then, she has not stopped since then. Orrantia was born in America, but has Hispanic heritage. Though she grew up speaking exclusively English and was never in Mexico she's very satisfied with her Hispanic heritage. She endeavours to keep it alive by learning to speak Spanish and creating songs in the Spanish language. She recorded a Spanish version of a track called 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was a part of The X Factor season 1's auditions during the summer 2011. The Orrantia's YouTube video was chosen and she got four "yeses" which is a vote for the judges during The Seattle audition. The first time she auditioned, she was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. But, three other female vocalists as well as her were grouped together to perform the rest of her songs. The group was eliminated at the 5th week during the live program.
