Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the US for more than forty years. She is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). The actress began her career in stage shows during the 1950s, beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. She then acted in numerous Broadway shows before becoming an international star alongside Li'l Abner in. The same year, She made her debut album, It's the Time for Tina. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was as Griselda in God's Little Acre, a 1958 film. The film was met with wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. While a student at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Another notable character she portrayed was Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on for in 1964. Louise Balfour was able to juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character contrast to her image of an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she also became a well-known director on popular TV shows such as Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 29th August in 1965. The family moved to Toronto when she was three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has been settling down there ever since.
