Ina Garten, an American author of cookbooks on cooking and Emmy Award-winning host of the Food Network's most popular program, Barefoot Contessa which began broadcasting in 2002 has 27 seasons to 2020. Ina started her career writing nuclear energy policies and budgets of the White House. Although she initially found the position interesting and stimulating however, she began to get bored. Barefoot Contessa was then purchased. It took her 18 years to make the shop extremely successful before she closed the business. She then began to write her first cookbook. Many more cookbooks as well as magazine columns that were added. The Food Network TV show also debuted, and was a huge success. Also, Ina sells products ranging from food ingredients to storage containers and tools. Ina did not go to a cooking institute and hasn't worked in restaurants. Ina is completely self-taught. She is a cook who is simple and has her entertaining cooking style. Some of her most popular recipes include the Skillet-Roasted lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
